very interesting site about great persian women. Thank you for your work. But i have some difficulties with the dating and the meaning of BC an AD. I think it' s iranian calendar.

I began to examine your view about medic wars with interest. I did never idealize ancient greeck civilisation especially the spartan, on the other hand i'm not persuded that it's good to make too much conquests even in name of good and light.

The question is complex. During mainy eras, not to conquer meant to be conquered. For example i know that the Greeks were not sangels. I tend to think that the persian empire was a little too much greedy and that the thought of an universal empire can be very dangerous and bloody. It's better, when it is possible, to have good alllies than make wars or than have vassals alway rebelling. And they were many and many rebellions during the persian empire.

I also know Iran thought that he had good allies before 1979...
I also think mohammed Reza shah made some mistakes, notably emphasaying the imperial side more than the peacefull side during the festival of Persepolis. The Pahlavi dynastye managed dangerous symbols, aryanity and goose step, frightening things for the West. This monarchy had sometimes the appearence of such a rigidy and a haughtiness! And i think, despite many good thoughts and good deeds.

And above all, the independant policy of iran displeased the West who envisaged the worst case scenario.

What a waste !

I hate as much as you do the evil power which crushes the women and the twhole iranian people and dipatches his venim throught the whole word.

But things are changing and i hope with all my heart it will be for the best for all of us. I know that the things will not be easy with the Europe because of her very complacent policy towards the Islamic Republic of Iran.

I usually surfe Persian websites when i have some time to kill, and in comparison with what i have seen so far, i must say you have one of the most organized and nicely designed websites. Congrads on this acheivement. The animated pictures from what persepolis must have looked liked are absolutely gorgeous... although I detect their must have been more colorfull.
